It's my graduation ceremony tomorrow, at 10 am in the Great Hall.

For the last two weeks I've been trying to get through to my friend Andrea about attending the ceremony. Finally got through tonight, but she was already committed to something else tomorrow. Ang was originally going to attend the graduation ceremony I was supposed to have back in 2002. Andrea's daughter was graduating at the same ceremony.

I didn't have the money to hire academic gear back then, so couldn't go, and really upset at the time. I had hoped to have her at this ceremony, finally, after all these years. But it ain't gonna happen. Kevin's coming to the ceremony, and that's good. I think he does appreciate what this means to me, as he's bought a few foods for celebration later on (and even some flowers to give me!).

Well, I've already pre-paid for morning tea after the event for three people - I guess I have a spare. If you're in Newcastle, want to come along?
