i got nc-17 - no fucking idea what that means. seems like kind of a fucking petty way to classify or rate something - sitting there with a fucking clipboard tallying up the swears.

In the US, "NC-17" is practically the same as the old "X" rating, but with a "®" alongside it. And since NC-17's the same as X, no reputable theater would carry such films, regardless of artistic merit, out of fears that they would lose their lease or face heavy fines.

Abd zelieq, since you make a habit of cussing up a blue streak in your blog, no wonder you got "NC-17".

I know what I did wrong now :-) My journal only had a PG because of the words "sex" and "death". If it rated my fiction, I'm sure I could have achieved an R like you, Laura (g) but apparently my journal is too clean. Sigh.
