SIMS 2?

I borrowed a copy of SIMS 2 Holiday Edition from the library today.

Never played SIMS before. I tried Sim Earth and Sim City, a l-o-n-g time ago. I think my PC was way too s--l--o--w to run either. Got very bored with both.

Will The SIMS be different? Will I get addicted? I don't know.

I have Sim Earth for the PC and SNES. Seeing as I had the SNES version first, I preferred that to the PC. Still runs fine on my Pentium 4. :)

One of the bad things about the game is you had to let it "sit and bake." Make a few changes, then go away, come back a few hours later - tweak, and so on. With SNES 9x, there's a "turbo" button. PRess that and suddenly, you're not just baking the game, you're microwaving it. :D

I think I tried playing it on an XT that ran a "massize" 110 MHz. No wonder I got bored.
