Across the road were throwing out their old stove, which is just old abut still works OK (though one of the elements gives you a "tingle"). Kevin spotted it yesterday and asked the mother their if we could have it, and we could.

Just now I went across with the trolley and collected it. The son had to phone mum first (and I was pleased he did) and that was that. It's currently sitting near the front door, and Kevin should be able to swap them over later today. My old stove has a dead element and another one that tingles, so it's got to be an improvement.

The scavenger household strikes again!
