Making Choices

Sigh - sometimes you can't have fun and work at the same time. Last week Jayne invited me to go with her and a group of gothy friends to see the stage version of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at the Metro tonight. I loved the film version of Hedwig even though I thought I'd hate it, and a chance to see the stage show would be cool.

I forgot about that until yesterday. I've been torn between doing just that, and doing my web comics, especially the Day of Remembrance ones.  Complications - couldn't buy a ticket online because I don't have a credit card and not enough money in the accounts if I did, but I also discovered $50 cash that I put away a while ago to fix the front door (and I wish to shit I'd remembered that when Peggy was ill).

So I can go, maybe, if I buy a ticket via a Ticketek outlet (and maybe get one of the seats in the last row, I checked what was available online) for cash. And I really do want, is to go out with Jayne, dress up in black, and hang around with goths. And this is the only night it's one in the State! But there's too many Ifs. I have a counselling appoint up here in Newcastle the day after, and if I go there'd be no time to spend on drawing comics.

So I'm staying home, minding the dogs (Kevin and Michelle are away again) and doing comics. It'll come back one day, and I can watch the DVD tonight instead. Not happy now, but I might be once I get those comics done.
