A Good Day

Rode my EasyRide out and about today. See my counsellor, dropped in on Jenn, and then went to the uni. I'd originally gone to the uni for a Queer Collective meeting but it wasn't on.

I decided to check a couple of things out instead. After seeing Laurie Anderson last night, I'm serious considering doing my masters, by completing my Trans Tarot Deck (which would involve creating another 56 images in maybe 4 years part time). I don't know if that's a realistic expectation, though the tech officers I know at the uni seemed enthusiastic when I mentioned it.

The person I had to speak to wasn't there today, and the information web page and the prospectus (pdf) is a bit hard to follow. I'm not yet discouraged, as there's more than one university I could go to for this.

Yay! That would be so wonderful. And if you ever do a run of actual cards, I'd like a deck....

you should do that thing!

Glancing at the sites and prospectus, I'm wondering: does University of Newcastle offer any graduate program in which a candidate is not expected or required to herself teach? I'm seeing "distance learning" among the the non-RHD options and thinking, "I suppose it must."
