My head has cleared up. Been a long day. I got nothing done that I wanted to. We'll see what tomorrow's like.

It also helps that I no longer have a massive headache.

HardDisk Crash

Well, I got my food shopping done. There was a nasty shock when I got home though.

Parts of the first hard disk on my Media PC in the lounge room have crashed. The file system on the Windows XP system partition is shot. I can boot it into Linux but certain settings and programs that were only under Windows have been lost. Ubuntu doesn't seem to be interfacing with the LAN, so that means the only way to transfer files at the moment is via USB. Hmmm. Kevin is away at the moment so I may not do anything about this until he gets back.

I can however still use Windows on the study PC and watch the recorded digital TV there, but it's not a preferred option. Ho hum...
