My Drawing Station

This photo shows my drawing table in the study. Currently occupied with stuff from my last project. On the stool is Gabby, and the chair in front of that is what I use while drawing there, otherwise my dog Bobby sleeps on it. At bottom right is my home-built light box. Stuff is always scattered about as cats and dogs use this as a passage to window seats.
I don't use my drawing table as much as I used to, as I prefer to draw and ink comics in the lounge while watching TV or videos.

This is the other end of the study. I sometimes use the graphics tablet (far right) to draw with, though normally I just use a mouse to colour images in Photoshop with. At left on top of containers of clip art reference is Bobby the dog, and the top of the wardrobe is used by Ebony to sleep on (away from bothersome dogs).

A lot of my comic pencilling and inking is down on the bed/breakfast table while sitting on the sofa bed, flanked by pets and watching TV/video. I find the video watching helps things flow.
At top is a painting called The Defenders which I painting in 1981. At right is the media PC, TV and monitor. LAN and power cables snake around the floor at bottom right in case I want to draw on my laptop with the tablet. The dog print on the mantlepiece is a keepsake from my late grandmother.

Close up of the drawing/breakfast table in the lounge. I rescued this from up the road when it was being thrown out. Mouse and Keyboard for the media PC are both wireless, of course! The support underneath the board is a laptop rest, but I find it has the best angle for my drawing
