Jenn & Friends

I took the camera over to Jenn's to take a photo of her new kitten (still not properly named), and ended up taking a photo of all of them:

Jenny is housebound. Bobby (the dog) has been very dear to her, and I think the new addition is going to fit in well; in fact I can see this tiger tom "ruling the place" soon!

First Day Reading

I had my first day at Second Life Bookshop today.

It was funny actually - I only had one reading all day, but that wasn't the point. I feel comfortable there, and "part of the team", and this I think is much more important.

The first half of the day I helped rearrange furniture, mount a rainbow wind breaker outside, and install a make-shift curtain across the hallway. I fully expect things to look different when I get back next week.

We had pizza for lunch, and Ang dropped in to have a chat in the afternoon (we ended up talking about imaginary numbers and 180 degree turns in higher dimensions, of all things).

Still, I felt a bit exhausted by the end of it. Had to buy a new telephone extension cable on the way home to get back on line, but as I'm parking the Rauni at The Store, it was easy enough to go to The Warehouse there, and get one.

I look forward to next Tuesday. I should have more flyers up and about by then.
