Trans Tarot Deck - progress so far

I've uploaded new versions of the cards I've developed so far for this project. At the end of 2005, I've created 11 out of 22 cards for a Major Arcana. You'll find samples of these at the Gallery at PicPile - only 11 more to go!

Knocked for Six

My tooth has hurt more now that it's been removed, than ever before. Today it's just been rotten. I bought a packet of panadiene 15 but I can only take two tablets every six hours.

I was going to go down a nightclub in Sydney tonight, however, as my jaw hurts when I bend over, or move my head about much, that wouldn't be a great idea. Oh, New Year's at home - nothing wrong with that.

I might walk Peggy later, if we're both up to it. He's been exhausted by the hot weather (35 degrees here today) as well. Poor sod. I hosed him down earlier, but that only goes so far.

ID returns home

Some weeks ago I lost my ID. This was just a ticket holder that had my pension card, student ID, Book Coop card, and a number of NUSA photocopy cards.

Anyway, last night as I was going shopping at Woollies down at Glendale, a woman wearing a Target uniform comes up to me and asks "Are you Laura Seabrook". I said I was and she said that I'd dropped my ID at Target a while ago, and if I wanted to pick it up at the service desk I could.

Did this today, and although I'd already replaced my pension card and student ID, I was still glad to have it back. I turned the house over a dozen times looking for it . I guess though, that the ID must have worked, if they recognised me!
