Final Contact
Mar. 4th, 2006 10:35 amI finally got through to Meredith, who's organising the "Bi-Bacchanalia" float. Looks like I'll have to get to the city before 5:30pm, so I'll be leaving here by 2:30pm at the latest. I'll probably catch the train from Cardiff - as all trains stop there, and only half stop at Teralba.
Funny - on Thursday I couldn't get to Teralba station to get into Second Life as Sandy Creek was flooded and the weir was impassable. I drove off to Cardiff instead. That was OK but I parked on a hill and when I got back that day, the best I could do was reverse down the hill into a side street, and then drive off from there - must get the engine looked at when I can. And yesterday when I went to Teralba to go in and pick up the flag (Jackie did most of the work on it) some guy turned up on the station, and just peed on the side of the building - how nice! So I won't miss Teralba then, will I?
It's on! It's on! I'm excited!
