Staying Home
Aug. 21st, 2006 12:17 pmStuffed up yesterday in going to the monthly "TAFE Alumni" luncheons I usually go to.
This is just a bunch of graduates of the Library & Information Science course at TAFE getting together to eat and chat. However, after Friday morning, I didn't even turn on the computer until late yesterday, and then realised (as my appointments are on it) that it was Saturday.
Oh well, there's always next month. And in fact, I was glad, as I needed "time at home" for myself after the trip. What I did do was go out and pay my Hunter Apana bill, and also swapped two old bathtubs from my backyard for a spin dryer that works on every setting but one. We both got a good deal (they want to keep extra fish in the back yard). Tomorrow I might phone the scrap metal merchants and see if any want my roller doors.
I was going in to the uni today as well to see my supervisor, but it would be better if I did that next week. All I have to do today then, is go to Edgeworth Post Office and pick up a CD player I ordered from Your Voice. Heh - I can walk.
