I actually enjoyed today, though I did spend a lot of it out in the garden, mowing the lawns, trimming archways and vines that had started to pull down my guttering, and reversing entropy in both the garden and work sheds. Had the TV going in the garden shed at one point, as I was removing crap and sorting out tools, and HAD to watch a show on Alexander Calder (the man who invented artistic mobiles) but what took me breath away, was that when testing the TV I picked up last community pickup day (it works) I also had to watch an animation called That Lost Thing, based on a book by Shaun Tan (who also did the superb The Arrival). Absolutely wonderful!

More housework days like this one, please.

One of the other things I relly liked was seeing my cats in my back yard again. Xena even comes up to the shed and meows at me now. She never did that while Hallie was here, and triply so with the pups. But once again my backyard is Xena's backyard - I don't have to bend over the fence to pat her. Gabby retreated to the top of the shed and next door after the pups pinned her down by their paws. But earlier today when I fed them, I could see Xena, Gabby and Bobby all eating within jumping distance of each other (Ebony eats on top of a bookcase). Couldn't find my camera in time for that one. :)

felt better today, even after mowing the lawn. The end of daylight saving might have helped as well.
