I've decided to go off-line on Facebook until I get back from Queer Collaborations.  Facebook can be a time waster at times, and I've gone offline before. But I also find that when I'm down, using Facebook makes me feel worse. So, no facebook (other than my wordgames) until I about the 13th of next month.

I don't seem to have the same problem with Live Journal. It may be because there's much less traffic here nowadays. I'm not forever anticipating a reply here - tomorrow is good enough.

Because I indulge myself in Second Life (a virtual world) I sometimes listen to net radios streamed in there. That's how I discovered Krypton Radio. It describes itself as "The best in comic book, adventure and just plain geeky music you'll find anywhere on the Internet. Krypton Radio - Superhearing for Your Second Life!""

Typical self promotion but they have a show called The Fanboy Scoop –Week In Review. Haven't actually heard an episode yet, and the music mostly sounds like film soundtrack stuff.

Also listed on the main page was a plug for a strip called Jenny Everwhere's Infinite: Quark Time.
This interests me because it's a Secondlife Avatar comic (I do one myself from time to time). But not only that, there's the character of Jenny Everywhere herself. She has her own wikipedia page which states...

Jenny Everywhere is described both as existing in every reality and being able to shift between realities. This gives the character the ability to be inserted into the continuity of any existing or new work, such as various comics or webcomics. The concept may be extended to other media as well. She was originally created by Canadian comic book artist Steven Wintle, who uses the internet alias Moriarty, and co-developed by members of the Barbelith online community.[

...and sure enough there's a license that allows you to use this character. It reads...

The character of Jenny Everywhere is available for use by anyone, with only one condition. This paragraph must be included in any publication involving Jenny Everywhere, in order that others may use this property as they wish. All rights reversed.
Now it just so happens that my current SL comic arc has the characters moving around the "alterverse". What'd be the chances they just might meet a version of her? Wink

Actually, I already have a character slightly similar to her - Dr Optimum. Hmmm, yes indeed!
