Had the most glorious dream last night, where the main characters where both in this wonderful and terrifying book, and outside of it as well!

The book was a marvellous compendium of stories. that initially looked different but were about the same people - hand bound and from (maybe) the twenties. The names on the side were Cole & Lillian... (the last name I can't make out now. But it had the town, the country, scientifiction and more in it. In the dream there were characters (or at least actors) from Buffy and Sanctuary as well as others. There was a dark power and well as a good power in the book, and it was trying to entrap the two people whose names were on the spine. Wow, I love it!

I remembered more details on the dog walk this morning - it was Cole and Lillian Leverbridth or Lethbridge. And the stories weren't so much dark as reflecting their subject matter. There was a scene on a bus where Cole got the drop on a demon in disguise that was trying to curse him and he recited an oath first. Also there was a half broken class top table that seems to be based on NUSA. And, the town, which was a 1920/30s one, seems to be on a new dream road grid that I know was in at least two other dreams!

I just deactivated my account on Facebook. am so sick of them changing how things look and work without notice. I shall probably reactivate it at some point in the future, but am just sick of the constant change. If they're going update and change things, they still need an option where the user can pick the look and usability they want, and the featuress they want. NOT just change it anyway.

I'm trekking over to Bennett's Green tomorrow to get a replacement element for the stove from the Electrolux shop. Been there and done that before. Long trip, simple transaction, and then a return back to Charlestown and whenever. Don't have a price for an element yet but it may be $80 or more (that seems about what it cost before). This is the second time this has been replaced.  Ho Hum. Might do something in Charlestown on the way back. Last time I went out that I bought a cordless phone at Bing lee on special. Nowadays you can get two of them for the same price.

My foot and knee are better, but after today's drudge of running around shopping and carting trolley around I'm not keen to go too far out of my way. However, a replacement element means I can stir-fry again, so I DO need to get it. Hopefully this time around it won't wipe out my house's electrics when I replace the bloody thing.

I stopped briefly at Wallsend on the way home, and popped into the library on a whim. One of my requests came in - the Steampunk Bible. Looks very cool and I may read it from cover to cover over the mid semester break.
