A Catch-up week
Nov. 10th, 2011 03:39 pmWell I went out for a short stink of shopping. Much nicer day for it. First though after breakfast I mowedf the back lawn. The forecast for this w/e is SHOWERS so Sunday (when I'd normally do it) would be unlikely. Most of my shopping today was stuff that's awkward to carry home with food shopping - flea bombs, damp-rid refills, cat littler and trays. Sometimes (like a library run, where most of the day is about visiting libraries) it's better to do a seperate shopping run for this stuff.
I haven't needed any cat litter trays for a while. Gabby used to be an indoor cat, but Hallie and her pups drove her outside, and litter trays got raided by them for munchies (yuck). But Gabby has come back inside mostly, just like Xena has returned to my back yard, and she's been secretly pooing up the other end of the house, and it smells like cat piss in the study.
Still an improvement from all the pets pooing under my drawing table!
The refills were really needed as well. I can stand summer, provided it's dry. But Spring is pretty haphazard and humid here. When I checked the damp-rid buckets yesterday the contents were all LIQUID. Gah!
Overall this has been a "catch-up week", sorting out stuff like computers and webcomics that needed doing for a while. I went out Monday but have been home during hot and muggy weather. Tomorrow however is a UNI day. Will need to apply for funds for the Wacom tablet, and make a start on the review due at the end of the month.l
