What a way to end the day!!!!
I caught a bus up to Charlestown, saw my G.P., bought some prescriptions, had a NSU test, dinner at the food-hall there, and then caught a bus back to Cardiff. Did food shopping at ALDI and Woollies there, Then I caught the 2nd last bus home. I got out with the trolley next to the chip shop - and realised that I'd left my should bag (with my purse, medications, KEYS and other stuff in it) on the bus!!!!
I waited a while in case I could catch it going back the other way, but without a timetable I couldn't tell that they DON'T do a return trip this time at night. It rained a bit and when it was clear I walked up the street with the trolley and got home. Of course the front door was locked, and the pets going into a frenzy on the other side (they hadn't been fed yet). I tried to get in via the doggy door in the back entrance and then realised that I'd forgotten to lock it, so I walked in, to pandemonium!
Got the pets fed, tried phoning the depot but it was closed with no option t leave a message. Then I tried to catch the 8:39pm bus and realised that it was already 3:45. Went next door and asked Brook if she'd give me a lift to the depot tomorrow and she will (and home as well). So, not a TOTAL disaster after all.
I have good neighbours :D
