"Out of Normal"

Went to the Optometrist to get a new prescription and new specs (I BROKE my current pair  Monday morning).  The news was not good on two counts - I have a few assets over the limit for the spectacle rebate program, and  my vision is "well out of the range of normal" of the standard set for spectacles, so it it will COST MORE.   Sigh.  - at best it would take TWO WEEKS before getting a replacement, at who knows what price.
