Well that was a good two days.

Went down to the NSW Art Gallery. [livejournal.com profile] zelieq had a hangover from the night before and couldn't make the exhibition so (as I'd already seen it) skipped that and just saw The Cat Returns. Great film, very funny in one of those wonder whimsical ways that studio Ghibli is known for.

Afterwards I had an Indian meal on Oxford St and later went to Casula to visit [livejournal.com profile] shiatanscat. Got a text message from [livejournal.com profile] _blubloo_ on the train, but I was already on my way, and haven't been to her place yet (next time, dear).

Spent the night watching DVDs. We watched: Two Hands; A boy and his Dog (1975 version); The Machinist; and Thir13en Ghosts. Didn't get to sleep until after 3am. It was a fun day and night, where I felt I'd got away from responsibilities and stuff that was bothering me.

I left early the next morning. Caught the train(s) back to Newcastle, and did a bit of travelling to the uni, to see my dietician, and drop in on Jenn. I also went to the library and did a small amount of food shopping too. Busy day today!

Gasp - a good trip to Sydney, but I'm glad I'm back.
