Death to Fleas Part 3

I'm going to try another tactic. I heard this from Jackie at Second Life. It was how she cleaned out a granny flat of flea infestation.

1. Sprinkle Epsom Salts on the floor and furniture and into all the cracks in the infected area.
2. Leave this for a week.
3. Vacuum thoroughly the entire area. Seal the vacuum cleaner bag and dispose of this.
4. Spray area with "flea mix" from spray bottle.

Fill spray bottle with the following recipe:

• teaspoon metholated spirits
• 1 teaspoon Lavender Oil
• 1/4 cup white vinegar
• fill remainder with water

The "flea mix is supposed to kill/damage the eggs. It should work, but will take a week. That's OK, because right now both Peggy and I are avoiding this area as much as we can.
