...I've been out and about each day, seen two counsellors, and overspent for this pay period. Need to keep a closer eye on my budget I think. I went to buy a lotto and a lottery ticket at the newsagent's in Glendale and got a "transaction rejected" from the efpos transaction! Of course earlier in the day I'd paid $40 for a full year's s membership to NUSA, the student org at uni (and apparently was the first to do so this year). But I could have only paid $20 for the first semester, or waited until O-week. Been a few expenses this pay period.

As it was, after going to my bank I went to go back to the newsagent and saw my bus come in. It was just too damn hot to wait another hour so I raced off and caught the (air-conditioned) bus instead. Then I decided to go to West Wallsend, but the lotto and lottery tickets there, and catch the return bus back home.

Will be spending frugally until next Wednesday.
