laura_seabrookTomorrow they're showing the 1939 film at the Glendale cinema at 10:30am. I shall be going!
Never seen the film in the cinema before, and am looking forward to this. Once a month the cinema shows "classics" on a morning session. I missed Casablanca a while back, but had already seen it in the cinema anyway (as a double feature with Woody Allen's Play it Again Sam).
Always been an Oz fan since I read the story as a child. Mum used to have a "film edition" of the book with stills from the film, and original Denslow illustrations.
