Accident

Well I didn't get very far doing the housework today. I decided to prune the vines over the front gate. Had an accident with the secateurs and cut a deep channel into my left index finger. The pain was so bad I almost passed out and next door called the ambulance. I sat there holding a face cloth against the cut and talking to Brook next door who was concerned but faints at the sight of blood. Eventually the ambo came and fixed it for me, which involved industrial strength antiseptic, an anesthetic, plenty of cleaning, carefully applied super glue, and some bandaging. He also gave me a Tetanus shot.

Need to keep it clean and dry for a while until it heals. So much for housework today, though it shouldn't stop my drawing because I'm right handed.
