Have not been sure if the "Mystery Kitten" is still around, so I set up SAFE FEEDING ZONE just in case. The photo shows an area under a table next to the sofa in the Studio and the wall. The only open way in for either the dogs or the adult cats is the front, but I've blocked this off with metal/plastic spice rack I bought at K-Mart for under $5. The other pets could probably get to the food, but not without dislodging the rack, whereas the kitten (or mice) are small enough to get through. I've also seen the kitten go behind and underneath the sofa as well.

When I put this out last night the food bowl (both freezer containers bought at the reject shop for under $2) was FULL, so something is eating it! Of course that could be MICE, but I have a webcam and found some free CTV security software I can use with it. Later I'll set that up so that it will look at that spot and will record video footage if something moves there. Then I'll see what's eating it!
