Replacing the Studio PC

Struggled (and succeeded) in getting my Studio PC to boot again, but only on a Live Distro of Linux. It's enough to be able to back-up my files from the thing. I also phoned D-Comp to have a customised AMD_AD35 put together. In addition to what it usually comes with I'll have 8 GB ram, an extra graphics card, and a decent box so that I'll be able to add LOTS of extra hard drives. Costing me $430 but that's a reasonable price for what I'm getting. It's the Studio PC with all my Masters stuff on, and I will need a reliable PC to finish that with!
Am thinking I'll take the 500gb drive out of the new PC and put it in the old PC, just as a backup (dedicated Linux, yes!).
