I was in at 2nd Life Bookshop today doing readings (or more accurately, waiting for clients). Anyway, I popped next door to Jackies fabric shop (opposite Spotlight on Hunter St) and discovered that they had black netting for $6.50 a metre. I bought a metre, and if I feel energetic, might make something for Necropolis on Saturday. We'll see.

Today seemed unexpectedly easy.

I got my car registered. It was a matter of (on three occasions) bringing in the paper work and leaving in a minute or two. Other than that, I spent some of the day at 2nd Life. I've swapped from Tuesdays to Thursdays, and although there was a client already booked, he didn't show. It was a stuffy atmosphere there however. Next week the air-conditioning will actually be fixed, so it might be a really nice environment once again.

I spent some of the time in Jackie's fabric shop next door, and bought some black netting. I might even get around to doing something with it, even if not before Saturday and Necropolis. I also looked at patterns and stuff. Jackie suggested browsing through the BURDA catalogue, as they do larger sizes.
