Cities in Dust
Sep. 3rd, 2008 07:18 pmI was in JB's the other day and came across "The Goth Box" which was a collection of 50 or more videos in a custom box (it looked like a black corset). Anyway, what amused me was the last video in the set - Siouxsie & The Banshees - Cities In Dust!
What was so amusing about that, was that it was always the last song to be played at Necropolis - still miss that club.

Black Netting
Dec. 15th, 2005 11:08 pmI was in at 2nd Life Bookshop today doing readings (or more accurately, waiting for clients). Anyway, I popped next door to Jackies fabric shop (opposite Spotlight on Hunter St) and discovered that they had black netting for $6.50 a metre. I bought a metre, and if I feel energetic, might make something for Necropolis on Saturday. We'll see.

Saturday / Sunday
Oct. 31st, 2005 04:05 pmDidn't do much except go to Necropolis Saturday night. Had a good time and got home about 4am (daylight sacvings time). Sunday was spent (after dropping Roderick off at Fassifern Railway Station) out the back with Pegasus, or watching videos/DVDs (Buffy/Angel, and something called "Read or Die", and "Nausica: Valley of the Winds"). That was about my speed all day.
Funny thing with the ducks - Inkel who was taken on Saturday was "top duck" of one of the pens. When I opened the gate on Sunday morning, the remaining ducks hesitated before leaving. I wonder how long it will be before there's a new top duck?
Dropped off to sleep at 10pm. Somebody phoned just after this but I can't remember who or what I said to them, being half asleep. Maybe they'll call again.

You know, I "ummed and ahhed" about going to the Dance, but in the end what happened was this:
My foot was hurting. I decided to sit on the sofa and watch a little TV. And then I woke up at 10:54pm!I guess if I was that tired, I wouldn't have enjoyed the dance very much. Maybe next time. Or maybe I'll go to Necropolis instead.

Sep. 9th, 2005 10:44 amI just logged on to the Necropolis Forums for the first time in a while. Not a pretty sight (er, pun intended?). There's now advertising on each page. A bit upsetting, as it was never there before.
Oh well, we shall have to wait and see what happens. Necro hasn't been the same since Scott and Traci left. Not because of organising or anything, but because they ran the club like it was their home, and you were always welcome there. Nothing but bickering since they went to Melbourne. I wish that wasn't so.
