1st Day Back

I went in to Second Life yesterday to Tarot readings. Due to a muck-up, my adverts in the Post and Star didn't appear until the day before, so I had no bookings all day. Still, it's important to go, just in case there's a "walk-in". I spent most of the time working on some comics, and chatting with Liz and Jackie.

But I also bought another Tarot deck. This may have been an extravagant thing to do, if I had no $$$ coming in (and now I pay "rent" for the space there, if I have clients or not), but I'd had my eye on this deck for a while, and discovered some extra cash.

It was suggested that I start advertising gain down at the university, and in shopping centres. Here we go again!

Honours Project & Uni Payment

Saw my supervisor at uni today. We discussed where I am with the project, and where I'm going. I think, if I can, I need to do 2-3 cards a month. As I have 11 cards to go, that would be four months to complete the deck. The rest of the time will be spent on applying the "finishing" to the deck (border, colour, et cetera) and organising an exhibition at the end of the year. I might have problems with such, in that Watt Space, the uni art gallery, is threatened with closure. I'm sure it will be sorted out by November, but I need to maintain discipline to get everything done.

I also paid my general service fee for this semester in advance. They haven't officially announced them yet, but I had the money, and wanted to "lock it down". I did. *smile*. Been hitting the libraries pretty hard too, for various references. "Ah, libraries..." (said in a Homer Simpson 'donut' drawl).

Maybe Movies - Elric & Covenant

Discovered entries for Elric of Melnibone and also The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant! If they make the Thomas Covenant series into films, my first choice for the actor to play Covenant would be Hugh Laurie who plays the title role in the HOUSE TV series, though there are some interest choices at The Land.

I'm also rather excited about the film version of V for Vendetta though perhaps not in the same way.
