The Day Gone
Jan. 14th, 2006 11:55 pmMy PC kept on freezing today. I think one or both hard drives are starting to go. I'll replace them both eventually. The car wouldn't start when I wanted to move it to do some lawn mowing. Annoying that, but I can take a more leisurely look at it tomorrow.
Mind you, I did get 90 minutes of lawn mowing in. Believe me, the side and back yards needed it. I had grass up to my knees around the clothes line. Good fun, sorta, and the mower started first go (gasp).
I've noticed the return of lizards as well. While I had the ducks free-ranged, there were never any lizards in the house in Summer. Now they're gone, the lizards (skinks) have returned. I like that - I feel they give me "luck" (which I might very well need this year).
