Finally did a review of this book in Random Notes, which I've been meaning to do since seeing "What the Bleep..." last month. Susan D - this book is worth obtaining, even if it is out of print!

TV Fun

Yesterday my DVD muted itself. I tried watching a DVD from the library, and...

...no sound!

I can only guess that while I was away thunderstorms killed it, or damaged it badly enough that it couldn't be usable. Picture and no sound can be fun sometimes, especially if you do a "double take" with another sound source.ala "Hercules Returns".However, not what you want sound, and as it was also my main CD player as well, it's a bit annoying.

However, I still have one Video recorder that still works fine, and another that doesn't play or record, but has a better tuner than either the other player or my TV. And I still have my 200+ vinyl collection from the 1970-90s. Listened to some Van der Graaf Generator (gasp). haven't done that for an awfully long time.

Also, I discovered the following things are on TV and can be taped:

Samurai Champloo	Thursdays on SBS between 10pm and 10:30pm
Daria	Fridays on ABC between %:30pm and 6pm (season 4 I think)
Farscape	Tuesdays on Nine between 2am and 3 am!
