The youtube below shows the Amnesty International group marching in this year's Mardi Gras parade. Not very clear (bet you can't spot me). The last lone candle going up the road is Dick, who made the paper-maché candles.
Well, I went down to to Sydney, (and used the T-Way) got the parts (including a new tyre and got back. Also did some shopping at Glendale and returned library stuff, so it was a long long day. Didn't feel exhausted until I got off at Cardiff Station. I got back a lot earlier, thanks to using the T-Way, but the heat, the heat! Got home, and that was it - totally exhausted. Went to bed at 9:45pm and slept solid until 6 today. Whew!
I bought some Japanese plastic items on Wednesday which were just what I needed, but strange (for me) all the same. Here's the labels from them (click on images for larger detail):
