bobby bitten

bobby was attacked and bitten this morning as I walked both him and Pegasus down my street.  this is the same dog that bit me last year. bobs is in shock and we're taking him to the vets soon for the bite and puncture. The ranger's been here and taken a photo of the bite.

 

Bobby's Status

We took Bobby to the vet about 11am. He had a look at him and has given me a course of antibiotics for the next few days. Bobby was lucky in that his lung wasn't punctured. He should recover after a few days. The ranger came out and took photos of the punctures. I need to make a statement for her in the next few days. As we went to the vets we could see that the gate the dogs have been getting out by, now has a couple of boards holding it back.

Long long day. Bobby seems more or less OK, and I'm relieved for that.

The Trip Home

I'm not going to go home for Xmas.

Instead, I'll leave on the 2nd of the December, and be home for mum's birthday on the 3rd. I would have left last day of November in time for my brother's birthday on the 1st, but I have an E.E.G. test that day. I should be able to stay for a week at least.

This solves a lot of hassles, and I hope to see some old friends on this trip, like stephen_dedman and curi_oz_wolf.
