Heritage Key VX

Thought I'd check out Heritage Key VX. It's a private grid running open source software including Drupal and OpenSim. You can explore various historical locations that have been painstakingly recreated for you, by Rezzable Productions Ltd.

Yo have to use the custom viewer and many options that one is used to (like money and landmarks) seem to be missing. But then that's not the point. There's a variety of male and female avatars and accessories and outfits that you can mix and match, so you can still look sharp while stumbling around Stonehenge.

The website itself has links to real heritage sites around the world, a flickr group of (to me) interesting photos, youtube videos and other neat (archaeological) stuff. I will explore this thoroughly when I have the time.
