CS5 still down
Feb. 4th, 2011 08:43 amI still can't reinstall Adobe CS5. I have tried:
- turning off the anti-virus and firewall software;
- reinstalling Flash player;
- reinstalling only Fireworks and Photoshop.
And the result is always the same - the installation hangs when it attempts to install/download help files. I thought, maybe there's a lot of help files, but when you come back after an hour and it's still at the same point, no. It occurred to me that maybe the help files have to be downloaded, and for some reason the server for them is off-line, but that seems so incredibly unprofessional. Adobe Support have not yet got back to me, so it's frustration all around.
STILL NOT IMPRESSED.
Means I can't work on webcomics. I still have Paintshop Pro installed, but using that would be a backward step.
