Belated Announcement

I keep on forgetting to mention this...

Got my academic results back - I qualified for my Bachelor Visual Arts (Honours ), Class II Division 1. The graduation ceremony is on at the Great Hall at Callaghan Campus, 10:00am on 12th April, and I intend on going.

I was terribly terribly upset when I couldn't go to my Bachelor's ceremony a few years ago, as I had no money to buy/hire a gown, so this one is definitely on! Speaking of which, does anyone know of a pattern for the gown/hood in the Cambridge style? If I can make my gown up myself, I will!

He he - I can put BFA(Hons) after my name, now!

I'm sure your colour is 'Wattle'. Also, the first link should direct you to the website where you buy the gowns, so you might be able to see what the patterns are on there.

Yes, that's what I thought too. Couldn't find any patterns on teh page listed, though Wearing the Academic Dress (http://www.newcastle.edu.au/study/graduation/wearingacademicdress.html#trencher) at least shows what it looks like.
