Mixed Day

Glad I didn't post this earlier, and I was in a real state. Today has been very mixed. Why? The following happened:

  •  I almost (but not quite) missed the bus out of Barnsley because two people phoned me just as I was going out the door.
  • Being in a state of hysterics after trying to get a permit from the RTA to move my car (I can only get the permit to take it to a place where I can get a pink slip so I can get a permit - huh?)
  • Saw my dietician, who's getting me a referral to a Hunter Health psych.
  • Popped in at Jenny's, but she was too tired for visitors (asleep in bed).
  • Phoned Kevin at home but he wouldn;'t answer the phone?
  • Narrowly missed spending a final $37 on  my B5 lay-by - there's nothing wrong with that, but I'd better save my money and do that after Wednesday (pay day).
  • Met a friend who'd just quit his job, and talking with him made me feel at ease.
  • Went to visit another friend who wasn't home.
  • Went to legal aide. They don't handle fines, but told me to go to the local Chamber magistrate for advice ( finally, after looking at a stupid website all last night, I know where to go).
  • Discovered that I can still log on to uni terminals (and via that to the net) at Callaghan and Nesca House

Bizarre day. I was feeling a little suicidal earlier today - the stress was just wiping me out. But now I'm starting to feel less out of it.

Me, I find that when I'm stressed I cope less and let things slide, which stresses me...kind of a snowballing situation. Doing one small thing can help, sometimes, but I totally appreciate getting Stuck.

Please don't listen to any suicidal thoughts!
