laura_seabrookWell, much more happened before I could post about it.
I was going to post last night, but right in the middle of putting in a working CD drive (I already have a DVD burner, but it's nice to have a 2nd drive) a fight broke out between Pegasus and Hallie over a "rawhide bone" I'd bought her. Now Peggy and Hallie have small 'fights' over toys and bones all the time, but it never gets serious.
Anyway, Hallie ripped Peggy's left ear over with a cut/gash along the edge. There was blood everywhere. It was a long night. At one point a neighbour was going to drive us to the emergency (24 hour) animal medical centre in Broadmeadow. However, by the time that was organised his ear had stopped bleeding. As it was, we'd got her to buy a bucket for us at Coles to stop him from picking at it. However, the bucket proved to be more trouble than it was worth.
In the middle of this I got a phone call from Mrs Gunnell. Good timing. Didn't get my PC back together until this morning. Peggy slept separately from Hallie. Today though there's no animosity, and Hallie was distressed last night because we had to keep her away from his ear until it was looked at.
Phew!
