More opinions:

• Georgia - First time on. nice tune, nice voice, strange dancing. maybe in the finals.
• Montenegro - neat tune, though very 70s. Singer looks pretentious. I think they'll beat Israel, just.
• Switzerland - "Vampires are Alive"? Not quite a goth tune, but nice presentation. Odds on favourite for next round. ooooooh, I'm so scared!
• Moldavia - Slick. Finals fer sure!

No Terry Wogan tonight - he's on tomorrow night.

...they never made it in to the finals, whereas Bulgaria did. There's no justice!

I didn't pay enough attention to notice what Bulgaria looked/sounded like. Switzerland made me actually stop what I was doing to watch because they were so terrible! :D

Yeah, and they've won three times, including one with a transsexual singer! On the list of countries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision#Participation) that have participated in Eurovision, you'll also find: Morocco, Turkey, and Cyprus. Tunisia was slated to enter in 1977, but withdrew at the last minute.
