From the Amnesty International Australia page:
The eyes of the world are on Tibet.
Prime Minister Rudd is on his way to China.
It is time to stand up in solidarity with the Tibetan people!
When: Monday, 31 March
Time: 12.00 noon
Place: Martin Place Amphitheatre
Join Amnesty International Australia, Australia Tibet Council, and the Tibetan community to call on the Chinese authorities to stop the violence against Tibetans. The Chinese authorities have violated demonstrators' rights to freedom of expression, association and assembly and up to 140 are now feared dead. With no access to Tibet by international media and independent monitors Amnesty International is deeply concerned that further Human Rights abuses are imminent.
Use your freedom and join Amnesty International on Monday, 31 March at noon!
