Yesterday
I went to Wallsend (Library), Jesmond (Big-W and Woolworths), Newcastle University (for a Queer Collective meeting), back home, and then out to Glendale and back, all on the bus. Most of this was in an ordered state, however I left my strap bag and purse in the queer space at the uni. I discovered this when I got home. Not only that, but the tobacco and rollies I'd bought for Kevin were there too.
Kevin was going a bit nuts, still really sore since Friday when he'd helped me dig ditches to drain the block after 13 days of rain, and had run out of smokes. So, he pooled all the money he had together and I went out again to Glendale and bought a cheap pack of cigarettes to tide him over.
While I waited for the bus back I browsed Bunnings. They had kindling and firewood at a reasonable price, so I decided to buy some today,
Today
Kevin gave me $2.50 for bus fare and I went to the Uni, up to Charlestown, out to Glendale, back to the crossroads and home.
My bag and purse were still sitting on the floor of the collective when I got there, which was a huge relief. Most of the time in Charlestown was spent in buying strange Japanese plastic containers and cheap microwave plastic ware at a discount shops. When I got to Bunnings I discovered that they have a $50 delivery fee so I gave that I miss - I'll go back some time with my fold-up hand trolley and get a 20kg bag.
Tomorrow
I'm off to Jenny's to meet her there as she'll be at the flat between 10am -2:30pm. This might be the last time she's able to go, so I think we'll make the most of it. After that, I'm off to my counsellor. Might need it I think.

That's a ridiculous price, esp. for fire wood?
