Open Life Revisited

For one reason or another (see my post in second_lifers) I decided to revisit OpenLife to see if it'd changed much. It has a bit. The following snapshots show some development and changes:
This was the OpenLife grid last time I looked. There were very few developments showing (the red areas were off-line). This was also taken from a media sign in-world, so some details are probably missing.
This is the current world map. My location is at top in the welcome area, and home (which is mostly arbitrary) in the middle. More detail, more developments. Now as large as SL yet. I think the black chunk missing at bottom right is off-line.
A nicer set of buildings than I've seen before. Very little furniture though.
Someone is into Thunderbirds!
The local area shown in the above two snapshots.
I find these developments interesting, and will probably pop back in a month or so to see how things have changed. One thing that hasn't changed, is not finding other avatars. They just don't seem to be there! It's hard enough finding folk in Second Life lately (though I must confess I haven't been in-world terribly much lately) let alone in OpenLife.
Also see my later post.
