A Good Day

It was a good day today.
I did about 2.5 pages of a comic about the Zine Fair last year (should be finished tomorrow). My DigiGR8 camera came in the mail, and I was able to pick up two consecutive volumes of Rurouni Kenshin at the local library.
Went over to Jenn's later afternoon and we watched Logan's Run and episodes of House on DVD. I haven't seen Logan's Run for quite some time. The look is very 1970s, and there are the odd plot holes here and there, but there's a certain amount of charm with this film. I'd watched Forbidden Planet over at her place last week, and we were struck by the similarities in the scores, and some of the announcers/voice overs in Logan's Run sounded awfully a lot like Walter Pigeon. I was going to say that a remake of this is probably overdue, and then I discovered that they are already making one (and it looks like it's based on the original book)!
It was cool and wet today, which also helped my disposition. More of these, please (even though it's Summer here).
