Oh really? Which nation, and which day. Living in Australia west of the International Dateline means that I often seem to read "yesterday's" posts from other countries.

One hit wonders are vicious music memes that should be stamped out (unless you like them).

I didn't see any mention in the few that I read, but I wonder if anybody put down 'Take On Me' by a-ha. Over here in North America, a-ha is regarded as the one of the greatest one-hit wonders of the 80s. But we missed out. The rest of the world got to enjoy a further seven albums by this fantastic band, with Number Nine confirmed to be in the works. We North Americans got drowned in a sea of (c)rap, hup-hup and prefab boy bands instead. So they don't qualify.
