Octapod Event?

laura_seabrookAnother thing that's frustrating me is the 24 Hour Comic Day.
After suggesting that I run an event at the Octapod (I sent them a link with info) I haven't heard back from anyone about any details. When I went into town Friday the place was shut. At this point it seems to me just too late to organise anything, and I'm not really in a good mental state to do so.
I think I might just have to say, "thanks, but too little too late" and go to the one in Newtown. I'll go in and try the Octapod again today, but am not hopeful.

Hold on - they're listed as a host. I've just emailed the admin rather than the person I contacted. Might be some progress yet (though I have to admit, half the attraction was going to be socialising with other artists, and right now it looks like I'm it).
