Finishing Lux and Alby sign on and save the universe.

I bought this graphic novel a couple of months ago when I "ran away from home", down in a discount store in Liverpool. I had no idea what it was about at the time but it was cheap ($2.50) and looked like a fun read.

It is a fun read! Lux (in purple bike pants) and Alby (in goofy hat) are squatters in Brixton who inhabit a terraced house, along with Iskar upstairs and a bunch of Ishtar worshippers in the basement. Lux loves reciting his poetry and Alby is paranoid and loves his comic collection. They get involved in a fierce battle over the local squatters collective, and a battle over control of Nirvana.

It sounds air-headed but it is a lot of fun. There are heaps of other characters as well, sub plots and wild tangents, but it all comes together in the end. A Good read. Thoroughly loved it!

I forgot to post this yesterday (or was it the day before?).
