Just went "clucky" today after seeing a dog up the road with a pig, and started taking photos of it and my pets.

This dog normally barks at us as i walk my dogs down the street. For the last week it's had a companion - a piglet who comes to it when it barks. I thought this was just so cute! I've also see Bantams and Muscovies in the front yard with it too.
Much as they're an "odd couple", in some ways Bobby and Hallie are a good match. I miss Pegasus, but Bobby and Hallie are characters in their own right.
| Sometimes the only thing that will do is if Bobby sleeps in front of the monitor while I do stuff with the computer.

Sometimes in the backyard I'll look around and see Gabby looking at me, from around the corner of the shed. This is not surprising as she tends to sleep in there. I can almost imagine her mind thinking "Is it worth seeing what's on?"
| After Hallie and Bobby came to live with us, Gabby has tended to stay outside and now uses the shed as her den. It's (mostly) dry in there and she has plenty of spaces to sleep.

When I left home today Ebony was asleep in the washing basket. She was still there when I got home. Doesn't she look half asleep there.
| Ebony gets feed on top of the bookcase next to the window. Hallie can't jump up and get her food there, and she has a quick escape if need be. She clawed a hole through the flywire of the window, and rather than be angry with her I just thought it was a clever thing for her to do. This photo is a little over exposed.

This morning I gave Hallie a bone to chew which was leftover from defrosting the freezer. When I got home she was still guarding it from all comers.
| Xena is the first cat I got at Barnsley. Nowadays, because of Hallie, she tends to stay next door and I mostly see her at feeding times. Always in motion, very much an outdoors cat.
