Trying Linux again

Bloody "undead" operating system! Yes, I want to try another install of this - SUSE 11 in fact. The sole reason is that I want to run three copies of Second Life (which is beta for Linux) at one time, so that I can make a web comic a lot easier. Until now I've needed to login separately on my Study PC, the Media PC, and Kevin's PC.
But - I have a spare hard drive of about 150 GB which was part of the last installation. I inserted that a few days ago and there seemed to be nothing wrong with it. This morning I discovered that my DVD burner wasn't responding. I opened up the case and found that when I'd installed the spare hard drive, I'd knocked a cable out of the burner - d'oh!
Actually, with 150 Gb I could install more than one version of Linux, couldn't I? Now that's a thought!
