Saw a documentary on SBS about the fall of the Bastille. It was rather surrealistic, as clearly the documentary had been made in German, as that's what language the actors spoke in re-enactments. Very odd.

I saw the one of the Siege of Vienna.

Up until then I had no idea that the king of poland and the invading turks spoke german.

Great doco though.
