laura_seabrook | Necropolis Last Night

Necropolis last night was good -- they had three bands performing instead of the usual DJ stuff. The bands were: Immaculata, Dandelion Wine, and Ikon. I bought a CD of Immaculata's, but couldn't afford any of the merchandising of the other groups.

Roderick was there last night too. He's leaving later this week for America -- he's going to be a summer camp counsellor in New Jersey. Sounds like something out of "Peanuts"! Anyway, we both happened to get there at the same time, before the the doors opened. He thought there wasn't atmosphere in the auditorium but that changed after the bands started playing.

Went to the breakfast at the Three Monkeys today, with some of the Necropolis crowd. I wore the Necropolis T-Shirt I had printed to it. I enjoyed myself, but like last night I ran out of energy -- it's like someone siphons all of it out of me.

Last night it happened towards the end of the Ikon bracket. All I could do was just sit there and listen. This is the same thing that happened to me last Friday at Blink. Maybe I'm getting old * sigh *

There was a funny thing on the way home last night. The moon was close to the horizon and it was huge and yellow.
