laura_seabrookWent for a walk with Peggy today. We were walking down the gravel track that leads from where the old sewerage farm used to be, to the sports oval at Holmesville. He stopped for a bit and I went back to see what the problem was. He was sniffing around for a while and then went off. It took me a while but I found it.
There in a drainage ditch were three dead puppies. They looked like either bulldogs or labradors, I wasn't sure which. They were maybe a week old at most. All had been cuddled up to each other. I can only think that they were dumped there, and being too young to know any better, froze to death in the night.
Sigh. Fucking irresponsible dog owners. Should have had the bitch de sexed if they weren't going to do the right thing with the pups.
